The pub's atmosphere was super friendly, and the homemade dinner was good as gold! Just wish I'd had a better view from my room, but overall, a solid stay.

Lively social environment with rich historical insights.
During my stay, the limited evening menu felt disappointing. Despite the excellent quality of the food, I found myself wishing for more options. The bathroom being located across the corridor was inconvenient, though manageable, and the noise from the pub lounge was noticeable at times.

The environment was dog-friendly and
Inviting. The hosts truly went above and beyond, not only welcoming us but also providing excellent local insights. My partner and I appreciated the hearty meals, especially finding the quality of the ingredients used impressive. slightly more variety on the evening menu would enhance the experience.

The delightful hosts made our stay memorable, offering excellent hospitality. We enjoyed a wonderfully diverse breakfast that featured fresh local ingredients, fueling us for our day ahead. The outdoor seating area provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, a perfect spot to unwind after a long walk.
The evening menu could benefit from additional variety.

The Lion provides a cozy haven with a stunning view over the Ithon River and the woods, complemented by the fantastic home-cooked food, especially the curries inspired by Ray and Janet's Indian travels. The atmosphere is vibrant, enriched by local stories from the charming hosts, making for a memorable evening.
Shower space could be tight.

I had a really comfortable night here, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the delicious homemade dinner that hit the spot after a long ride. There’s a lovely sun terrace perfect for relaxing with a drink, and the garden area is a great spot to unwind. The complimentary mineral water was good but not locally sourced, which was a slight oversight. Highly recommend this place for any bike enthusiasts! 🏍️

I stayed in the King Double Room with External Private Bathroom. The room was exactly as advertised—huge king-sized bed that was super comfy. It had all the essentials and was clean. The private bathroom was just a few steps away, which was fine. The outdoor seating area was nice for relaxing in the evening sun. Plus, they had a lovely bar right downstairs with great local beers!

Welcoming hosts and a cozy atmosphere made for a delightful stay. The evening meal was excellent (that bread and butter pudding was indulgent! ), and the bar had an impressive drink selection. a charming spot to unwind.
The bathroom arrangement could be more convenient, as it was across the corridor.
